If you get a “period” during your break week on the combination pill is that a sign you’re not pregnant? I know it’s not a real period but my pamphlet says you can’t be pregnant if you bleed but i’ve seen online that you can.

It's unlikely that you'd have a heavy bleed and a viable pregnancy, but you could have spotting or light bleeding and be pregnant. So that's why it's better to go off of pill usage or a pregnancy test to determine if you're pregnant.

You also cannot be pregnant if you’re taking your pill properly. It’s basically impossible.

Bleeding is a decent indicator but it does not guarantee anything. If you use your pills correctly you will be fine.
