I really need help- I’m so confused as I had a phone call with my nurse regarding switching pills as I’m on my break she asked me have you had any intercourse in these last 4 days I thought your supposed to be protected during your break week?

You are but if you're switching pills it's best to skip your break and go directly to the new pill. Since the new pill has a different dose of hormones you may not be protected immediately so sex in the past 4 days could be unprotected because sperm could live up to 5 days
