When dating, how many people do you talk to/go on dates with at one moment? I’m talking to a few men right now and I’m finding I’m more focused on one guy, but don’t wanna put all my eggs in one basket. My only issue is he’s my top pick and I feel bad for talking to other people and going on dates if I know I like someone more.

Follow your heart, if you have more feelings for him than everyone else then start focusing your attention on him. Thats kind of the point of dating and how you find your person. I personally don’t like the feeling of clearly liking someone more but still talking to other people so I start to get in the mindset of pursuing them and asking if they feel the same and where their heads at. If their head isn’t where yours is, then continue dating other people.

^I agree with this once you’ve already been on at least a few dates and have established that you both are starting to like each other, but if you’ve just been talking or haven’t really dated any of them then I’d keep you’re options open. For me I only talk to/date one guy at a time but only cause I hate men and can’t be bothered to date lol

I personally wouldn't stop talking to the other guys until I had actually been on a few dates with the one I liked "more" and established that there was actually potential for a relationship there. You can like someone but not really know them so I'd wait to get to know them a bit more before deciding to pursue them exclusively. I don't think you need to feel bad about talking to or dating multiple people, they very well may be doing the same.

Thanks everyone. I’m curious, how long do you all wait to be exclusive? I usually have a 3-6 month window where I slowly stop dating other people and focus on that person and have that conversation about exclusivity once I feel it getting serious.

@Bananass I wouldn’t wait longer than 3 months if I was pretty much only talking to them
