You can experience at any time when using the pill, irregular bleeding is a side effect. While very unfortunate there is no way to control it or make it stop. It can last as little as a few hours, but some people are unlucky and may experience it for multiple weeks.

You are still in the adjustment phase which means you are going to have a lot more breakthrough bleeding. Give it a few months and it should stop.
