I have previously been taking my pills daily & on time. However I just took a 9 days break off the pill (on my period). I’m now 5 days into the pill and my boyfriend came in me. Will I still be protected despite the long 9 days break and 5 days back on the pill?

No you would not have been protected because you extended your break and didn't take 7+ pills before having condomless sex. Any sex during your break week would have been also unprotected. You should take emergency contraception. Just keep in mind that if you take ellaone, you would need to wait 5 days before start taking the pill again.

You were not protected. You too a break longer than 7 days and you are not suppose to do that. You are at risk of getting pregnant
