@Bakeadessert they don’t go away on their own. Only antibiotics can treat a UTI and leaving it will cause it to eventually spread to your kidneys so see a doctor by the end of the week or go to an emergency room to get treated.

@Yi_eune I’ve got rid of many by just drinking loads of water tho and nettle tea

@Bakeadessert if they're recurring it could be the same infection that's never really cleared and keeps coming back

@Bakeadessert it’s been medically debunked they can only be treated with antibiotics. Drinking loads can lessen the symptoms but it doesn’t get rid of the infection.

@Yi_eune I last had a uti 2 years ago and never had a symptom until this week so yeah I do think it can go away with water

It’s probably not a uti then you can have just bladder irritation. You said you ‘keep’ getting them which implies you have had multiple recently. Not just symptoms of one after 2 years free from them.

You need treatment to get rid of the actual infection, I don’t know what else to tell you 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes it's possible for your body to fight the infection on its own. But if it doesn't go away within a couple days you really do need to treat it with antibiotics otherwise it could lead to serious complications as said above.

@aurielle I didn’t say it did I’m saying in the past it has and this time it has again so the doctors isn’t needing imo

I don’t understand what advice you are expecting other than to see the doctor? If you’re having recurrent UTIs that’s worth a visit to the doctor (and I am saying this as someone with crappy high deductible health insurance that hardly covers anything and had to pay $600 out of pocket for my last doctor visit). If you don’t want to go to the doctor then don’t, but there’s not really much other advice you’re going to get, because that IS the best way to treat a UTI.
