Does diarrhea have to be completely water for it to be considered a threat to your protection? If it’s just mushy it’s fine??? I was backed up for a few days and took half a dose of ducolax and my poops aren’t runny they’re just really mushy but a lot.

It only affects your pill when it’s 6 trips of liquid stool within 24 hours. If it’s not liquid you’re fine.

It has to be at least 6 cups/trips to the bathroom of completely watery stool. If it’s mushy/slash has chunks and you’ve only gone once or twice you’re fine. That happened to me and I was still protected. Only become worried if you’re having a multitude of trips

@yi_eune and @izlily is it okay if you have diarrhea for like 3 hours? As long as you’re not having diarrhea for more than 24 hrs??

@tropicalpunc How many trips have you done to the bathroom? 6 trips with watery stool leaves you unnprotected. If you’re unsure, if you have sex today just use condoms

I had sex Friday but he didn’t cum inside of me he came in my hand. I haven’t missed a pill and this is my first active week since my break. I’ve gone four times now, two of which were solid poops and then these last two were kinda watery but still had decent amount of chunks.

Well if you do keep going to the bathroom, especially for the rest of the day,which is seems like you might, it’s possible that could cause you to be unprotected. Not 100% sure

@izlily so maybe if I don’t go again in the next 2 hours could I take another pill just to be safe?

If you haven’t taken your pill for the day prior your trips to the bathroom then you wouldn’t need another pill. But if you did and then immediately went to the bathroom after having more than 4 trips, then you can take another but kept track of your pills if you do

@izlily yeah I took my pill at 11:50am and then around 4 started having diarrhea so I took another at 6:30pm to just be safe.
