Hey so I usually get a full head of highlights and I like my hair to be nice and bright and blonde, though I am a low maintenance girlie and only will get a full head done twice a year! What can I do in between to keep my hair looking bright and fresh? I tried money pieces for a while and I loved them but I like to spice things up. I was considering a Scandinavian hairline but I think my roots grow back too dark for that. Any suggestions? X

As a natural blonde with white highlights I definitely recommend toning shampoo, use a purple or blue shampoo once a week to help neutralize any brassiness and keep your blonde looking bright. Just be careful not to overuse it, as it can sometimes dry out your hair. Also, if you want to spice things up, consider asking your stylist about balayage or foilyage techniques. These can create a more natural, sun-kissed look that grows out beautifully and may blend better with your darker roots. Don’t forget to incorporate a hydrating hair mask into your routine to keep your hair healthy and shiny. Look for masks specifically designed for color-treated hair. And if you want to experiment, consider using a temporary hair color or a color-depositing conditioner that can enhance your blonde without a long-term commitment. Ultimately, it’s all about finding what works best for you and your lifestyle. If you’re unsure, chatting with your stylist about your options can also provide personalized recommendations. Hope this helps! X

I agree with the above, if you want low maintenance, a balayage would be great since it grows out really nicely. I just got a balayage a couple weeks ago and I’m super happy with it
