hi! yesterday i had a pretty bad case of food poisoning so i experienced the usual symptoms (vomitting, diarrhea, etc) and i didn’t take my birth control because i worried the pill wouldn’t absorb. i ended up forgetting to take it until around 8 am this morning (i normally take my pills around 11) and i’m wondering what that means for my protection. i had another wave of watery diarrhea an hour ish after taking the pill this morning and i haven’t taken my actual pill for today yet. any insight would be greatly appreciated! for reference, i am on aviane and i’ve been skipping my pill breaks for about 3 months.
