Hey girlies a question to ppl that use Kyleena IUD. I’m feeling some nipple soreness, I had my period 2 weeks ago so it can’t be it. I’ve had IUD for 5 months and is the first time this happens. It could be because of ovulation but bc is the first time it happened I’m confused. I did have sex without condom like 2 days ago. Have u guys ever felt it?

I used to have the Kyleena, I had such sore boobs and nipples all the time it is possible it’s ovulation but because you have the iud the chances of you getting pregnant are very very slim to none, also you may not have ovulated before this it’s very hit or miss if it will stop you from ovulating because it isn’t its main source of function (it works primarily by keeping the lining of your uterus very thin and makes your cervical mucus thicker and also just the fact you have a plastic thing inside your uterus)

Its possible that you aren’t and its also possible you are, but either way I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about as those can just be normal side effects
