I’m feeling a bit nervous and was wondering if anyone else had the same experience. I’m 27 and have had papsmears the last 2 years in a row and will again in August this year as they have both been abnormal. The first time I had previously had a yeast infection so my doctor said it was most likely from that, but last year she said the sample could’ve dried before testing which also happens and not to worry. She also had the lab retest me for HPV which I am negative for and have also never been sexually active. I’m just really worried that when I go this year it’ll be abnormal again and my head just automatically jumps to what if I have cancer? My doctor isn’t concerned which makes me feel better but the more I think about it coming up the more anxious I’m getting just wondering if it’ll be abnormal again and if so what then? I hate going to doctors to begin with and have a major fear of something being wrong with me so I don’t want to have to do all these extra testings and whatnot if it’s not normal. Has anyone else had this happen? Should I be worried?

Hey, try Papilocare vaginal gel if you are worried. I'm using it now for around 3 months, because I tested positive for HPV in April, in May I had colposkopy, and my 3 pap smears were abnormal since September 2024. My gyno recommended me this Papilocare gel (google it!) she says that it helps with preventing HPV related lesions and that's why I'm strictly using it since diagnosed. I have another appointment- colposkopy and pap smer in October this year. Really, try it, maybe it will help in your case. You never know!
