Forewarning, I don’t measure my seasoning 😂 I put it on and then adjust to my liking!
Steak-
Ingredients: salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning.
Directions: cook your steak depending on how you like your doneness and thickness of your steak. I like medium rare so I cooked 5 minutes on each side!
Shrimp-
Ingredients: salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, slap ya mama, creole seasoning, smoked paprika, parsley, 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, 1 tsp of minced garlic.
Directions: put the butter and garlic into a pan and put in your shrimp. I used a precooked package of shrimp so all I did was heat it up and made sure everything was evenly coated!
Onions-
Ingredients: two white onions, salt, olive oil
Directions: slice your onions and heat up some olive oil in a saucepan. Once heated, throw in your onions and a generous amount of salt. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn, stir them frequently. It takes me about 20 minutes for them to get caramelized!
Asparagus-
Ingredients: one bunch of asparagus, salt, pepper, 1 tsp minced garlic, olive oil.
Directions: preheat your oven to 425F. on a baking sheet, lay out your asparagus and drizzle some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Once the oven is preheated, put in your asparagus for 15 minutes.
Mashed potatoes-
Ingredients: 7 russet potatoes, 4 tbsp unsalted butter, salt, pepper, 1tsp minced garlic, shredded Parmesan, shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of milk.
Directions: peel your potatoes and salt the water. Put your potatoes in a pot and cook until soft and tender. Drain the potatoes and put them in a bowl. Depending on how you like your potatoes, you can use a hand mixer or a masher. Put the milk, butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and cheeses in and mix it all up!
