Have you been back to the doctors about this pain? That does not sound normal

@Yi_eune its only when my partner goes deeper so in certain positions when he hits my cervix i feel a slight pain of how i did when i got the coil fitted
it kind of ruins the sex when i feel that pain but i did read somewhere sex isnt the same after the coil

@zoe1222 your cervix being hit will be painful regardless whether you have the IUD or not, just tell him to not go as deep x

@Yi_eune when i was on the pill my cervix didnt hurt at all no matter how deep he went i feel like its been really sensitive since getting the coil fitted. I have thought about ringing the clinic but im worried about them having to do something the pain i experienced was next level x

I mean that sounds like it makes sense. You got something inserted and now feel it more during sex. Just ask him not to go as deep. You could also speak to your dr about this.

A sensitive cervix after having an IUD is normal. You have the strings sticking out of your cervix so when it’s hit, it sort of jostles those strings and IUD. I’ve had 3 IUD’s and I always just tell my partner to not go so deep or with some men I couldn’t do certain positions depending on how big they were.
