Can anyone share their experiences being on the mini pill? I am thinking about going on it bc i can’t do the combo pill. *I know that everyone reacts differently*

If you search the words mini pill, or a specific brand eg Heather, Cerelle, Slynd, Cerazette etc, in the search bar, you’ll see loads of old posts discussing it If you put one or two exclamation marks, either ! or !!, after the word, one will show you older posts and one will show you newer posts (I think one shows newer and 2 shows older)

I am on the mini pill norethidrone and it has been okay. I do get some bleeding almost every 2 weeks. Sometimes I don't get a bleed for 3 weeks. It really just depends. I do get cramps letting me know it's coming and I bleed for about a week. Not too heavy. I've been on it for about a year. Everyone will be different. Some people may not bleed at all and some have spotting or a period type bleed. Just depends, but if you can't do the combo pill, I would try to do the mini pill before you decide another option. It does have 3 hours to take for you to be covered, so that is something you have to watch and be mindful of taking on time.

I have been on this mini pill called OPill. When I first started it I didn’t have a bleed for 5 months which I enjoyed, after that time I started bleeding a few days every other week it seems. I completely didn’t know that you even get a bleed on the mini pill because they don’t have a placebo week😅. Also keep in mind that the time frame is very short which is definitely a con to this pill if you are bad at taking it on time.
