Hi I have the hormonal IUD Kyleena. I usually get a light period every month for about 5 days. However my period is 5 weeks late. Is this normal? I got spotting for 1 day when it was supposed to come. I am worried and wondering whether I should take a pregnancy test as this week I have had stomach issues as well

Yes irregular bleeding is a common side effect of the IUD. You may stop bleeding entirely

It doesn’t really matter whether you bleed or not. Birth control is known to stop bleeds.
