When you take hormonal birthcontrol, it thins the lining of the uterus which can make your “period” also knows as a withdrawal bleed light or even disappear as time goes on. When you take progestin only methods I.e. the iud, nexplanon, depo shot or mini pill it’s more common to stop bleeding completely (although some people do still bleed on them) but it can also happen when you take a combined birthcontrol

You’re no longer on a real natural cycle as the pill stops periods entirely, any bleeding/not bleeding is just a side effect of the pill. Bleeding can be anything from non existent to very, very heavy and there’s no way to predict how it will be. There is no point using a period tracking app really, probably just a coincidence it’s lining up with your app.

Your bleeding can differ from month to month, some can be heavy others you may not bleed at all or anything inbetween the two. There is no point to track your bleeding as it’s not an actual period.
