I have been on the combined pill for around 6 months now and take the packs back to back so do not have a withdrawal bleed, i didnt experience any breakthrough bleeding in the first few months however had a small amount recently for the first time. I thought this was slightly odd as it hadn’t happened when i first started on the pill but it was not lots of blood and didnt last more than a day. Is this normal?

Yes that’s completely normal, unfortunately breakthrough bleeding can happen at any time during oil use even if you haven’t experienced it before

You can experience any side effect at any time no matter how long you’ve been on the pill for. This is completely normal.
