My ex was with me for two years and never said “I love you”. He was disrespectful towards my family yet I always had to get out of the car when going to his parents. He never complimented me or called me beautiful. Is this normal? He also never said sorry for making me upset.

Every time I said I love you he said “you too”, would play age of empires for so long then decide to go somewhere and I’d follow. I feel like it’s my fault for not communicating my needs as he said he would have preferred a conversation, but we had one and he didn’t improve towards my family or me.

@Honeybee88 I think you need to move past what happened and figure out what you want and need from a relationship. By the way you word things it makes it sound like you followed him around like a sheep, never do that again. Up your standards 💯
