Brown discharge is old blood mixed with regular discharge, one of the ways the pill works is by thinning the womb lining, so if you are only experiencing minimal or no bleeding this is perfectly normal. You may start bleeding more if it’s only the 3rd day of break, but if not don’t worry, the bleed you have on pill break can be very unpredictable xx

But the brown discharge is so little as well, I have never missed a pill and I’m very careful to take them correctly but even then I haven’t started my withdrawal bleeding

Any blood during the break week counts as a withdrawal bleed. It’s normal to experience little to no bleeding on the pill, as long as you’re using your pill correctly you’re good.
