I’m getting my hormonal IUD on Tuesday, do you have any tips? I plan on taking painkillers in advance and I have someone to drive me.

Painkillers in advance and getting someone to drive is exactly what I did! I’d also recommend having a snack with you to eat after the procedure because I felt quite shaky. I continued to take painkillers at the allowed regular intervals for the next 24 hours just to keep on top of any pain!

I wouldn’t plan on going to work the day of or the day after
