Ive started to take my pills 21 days with a 7 day break. The app says im protected even during the 7 day break but im really scared to do it during my break because im used to going back on it and waiting 7 days until i have sex. Can you get pregnant during the 7 day break?

Assuming you are using your pill correctly and will start your new pack on time, you’re not at risk of pregnancy. It would make no sense for a medication to simply not work for an entire week of every month.

hey babe, waiting seven days is necessary when your body is being put back on the pill after not being on it if that makes sense? ik the break seems scary, but the main reason behind it is the chance of getting pregnant when you are actually having ur period or bleeding (during the 7 day break) is so unlikely. but regardless of that, your body is still in “can’t get pregnant mode” from being on the pill. during the 7 day break so long as you don’t exceed 7 days, and take ur pill on time on the 8th day. Ik it doesn’t make sense lol but as long as you take ur pill correctly before and after the 7 day break, ur all good xx

The 7 days is only a thing when you first start the pill or start again after you become unprotected at some point. If you use your pills correctly you can have sex every day of the month and won’t be at risk.

@Lucy_13130 yeah, that’s what birth control is for. If it left you unprotected for 14 days of the month it wouldn’t even be distributed to the masses. It’s probably a good idea to educate yourself on what birth control is and how it works by using reliable sources (check for scientific research to back up any information you find).
