Does it matter if you make your break week shorter? Also once I start my new packet am I protected the first week or do I have to do the same as the first time and use a condom for first 7 days? 💤⚠️💊‼️💊⚠️💊⚠️💊💊⚠️💊💊💊⚠️💊💊💊‼️💊‼️💊💤💤💤💤💤 Brand: Rigevidon

It’s recommended to shorten or skip breaks completely as it significantly reduces user error.

You’re protected if you use your pills correctly.

Ahh I see so is it just so that the habit doesn’t break rather then there being any scientific reasoning behind it?

@Moonlight68 it’s actually quite interesting but the only reason a break week got introduced was because so the Church would be acceptance of birth control. So it would mimic a natural cycle. The original design never included a break. But it is safe to take them if you wish. It won’t leave you unprotected if you use your pills correctly, just be sure to never extend your breaks.
