Has anyone gotten rid of HPV? And how? Just got diagnosed and I am freaking out!

I think most hpv goes away on its own within 2 years. But definitely speak to dr! Xx

Is this from a smear test/pap smear result? I was just asked to get tested again the following year and it went away on its own. I didn’t get treatment or do anything

@Bonyu most people “fight it off” within 2 years or so

A lot of people have it, men carry it and give it to people they have sex with, unfortunately and frustratingly it can only affect biological women. I’ve had it for maybe 15 years but it hasn’t ever been an issue for me. Just make sure to get checked every year to three years and tell people you sleep with if you aren’t using a condom. If even if you are, it’s just harder to transmit without one. I
