So i had a yeast infection. I was given two doses of fluconazole. I took the first last Tuesday. I did feel symptoms lessening. My period started on Thursday and ended Wednesday. The second dose was supposed to be taken 7 days after the first (2 days ago). Due to my period i couldn’t tell if the infection was completely gone (i felt better). Turns out i still have a bit of the infection (smell and bit of discharge). Do i just take the second dose now? Its been 9 days since the first. The doctor was through tele-health so not too sure how to go about contacting them.

Always take medications as instructed. You could probably take the second dose now but it might not fully clear the infection as you’re taking the second dosage later than expected. You could also ring a pharmacy and ask, as yeast infections are super common and they can give you advice.
