Am I just overly sensitive? My boyfriend over the chat was asking about whether I still have the plastic next to me; and I thought he meant the plastic bottle on the shelf that was seen on the video I sent of me and his cat. So anyway, he said the plastic bags on the floor and I told him he could’ve been more specific- he then proceeded to tell me I can be dumb sometimes and it gives him the ick and that just offended me..

I mean if he meant the plastic bags maybe he should have.. you know.. specified? lol. You’re not being overly sensitive, this is a normal reaction. He is being simply awful to you. Why would you ever accept him saying you can be dumb and you give him the ick?? This is someone who is supposed to build you up not tear you down. This isn’t what a boyfriend should do. Disrespectful for absolutely no reason. Who does he think he is. 🙄

Not a fan of people who have such a strong negative reaction to an extremely minor and unimportant misunderstanding. Like if that’s how he to reacts to this, I’d really be concerned about his reaction to something that’s actually important.

Don't ever be with someone who calls you dumb in full seriousness???
