Just be honest about it before you have sex. I have herpes and always disclose that before any sexual interaction with anyone. When I know that we both want to have sex I stop is for a sec and say ‘before we go any further there is something I want to share with you. I do have herpes. And I wanted to give you that info so that you can decide if you’d like to continue.’ They usually have questions and I’ll answer what I can. But we’re all adults and I expect them to look it up on their own time or at least have some kind of info on what it is. But usually they don’t. So they’re curious. Like with hpv I don’t know all about it. Just be honest. Rejection is a part of it, and that’s okay. Just know they weren’t meant for you 🤷🏽♀️
