Wondering if anyone could offer some advice. Believe I had thrush at the beginning of this week so used one of the internal canesten pessaries. Symptoms did improve slightly (less itching) but still getting discharge and have a little cut which is quite sore. Took fluconazole today to try and speed up the heeling. When should I start to feel back to normal ?

Usually 1-2 days post fluconazole. Sometimes you need a second dose

You should start seeing an improvement in symptoms in 24 hours but it may take a few days for the infection to clear completely

@lizzie3456 how would you know when you need a second dose ?
