Heyyy for the girls that use IUD specifically Kyleena. I’m on my 4th month and my period hasn’t come in a month ( it used to come every 2 weeks in the first few months) I do have sex without condom. Is this a common effect or should I do a test

Sounds like your body is still adjusting to the IUD while this happens ur going to have side effects.

Little to no bleeding is a common side effect of the hormonal IUD.

Lots of people stop bleeding at all on an iud, if you’re testing negative and you still aren’t getting it, it’s safe to assume you are one of the people who don’t have regular periods

It’s normal not to bleed at all when you’re on a hormonal IUD.

@rosadias that’s honestly fine, it’s very common to stop bleeding and unless you start getting symptoms you shouldn’t need to test
