I also experienced increased hunger as a side effect of the pill. What works is eating more filling and satiating foods. For example increasing your protein intake or adding more whole grains can make you feel fuller for longer because it takes longer to digest. Sugary foods and snacks are filling for a short while, and often you may experience a blood sugar crash a lot faster making you want to eat more.
Humans are also notorious for not drinking enough water. Dehydration can sometimes feel like hunger pains. I definitely struggle with that, but I notice a big difference when I do drink enough water.
