hey guys just wondering if i am at risk of being pregnant, the situation is quite all over the place so ill explain it the best i can. so the 23rd july i decided to go on my break because i had missed it the day before as well as 20th and i was getting cramps. i had an invisible period at the time which i was unaware of (it was because of stress) and i had sex. i took a pregnancy test just to be safe which it said not pregnant. so wednesday 30th was the last day of break and i was supposed to take my pill the next day but i was with my boyfriend the whole week who lives much further than me so i couldn’t take my pill when needed. i got home friday the 1st and forgot to take my pill as well as 2 or 3 more days after that. so since possibly tuesday i have been taking my pill apart from 1 or 2 days that i forgot again. i had sex yesterday and he.. you know what in me. i did take it yesterday and the day before that too so, i am not sure. sorry if that is very complicated. but am i pregnant? :( also any tips on how to take your pill on time and never forget? i am so bad :( !! Brand: Microgynon 30

From my understanding yes you'd be at risk for pregnancy because you extended your break past 7 days which makes you unprotected and you had sex before you had taken 7 pills in a row correctly to make you protected again. Since you had sex yesterday there is still time to take Plan B to mitigate your risk of pregnancy. Also I'd highly recommend getting on a long-acting birth control method like the implant or IUD if you forget to take your pill a lot. In the meantime use condoms as backup protection.

So it sounds like you were definitely unprotected and you should have used back up contraceptives or you probably should’ve taken a plan b as you haven’t been taking it for a full 7 days to be protected again. Take a test in 2-3 weeks (3 weeks is more accurate) and if you can’t remember to take your pill you should switch to another form of birth control ie the shot, the patch, the arm implant, the iud or the ring
