last week i tested positive for chlamydia, i didn’t have one partner so i’m not sure who gave it to me and i have told both of them i got it, but have decided i don’t want to see either of them again just because i don’t want to open myself up to the possibility of getting it again as i don’t have much trust for either of them. i am nearly at the end of my week of antibiotics and i was wondering how long to wait until after i finish these to become sexually active again? i dont have any plans to of course i was just wondering just in case. the doctor told me to abstain until i finish the antibiotics but ive read and been told i have to wait 2 weeks after? im just nervous if it is any longer / anything happens and i just want to be 100% sure.

I waited 2 weeks after my antibiotics finished. Make sure to in the future abstain from oral sex unless you see results and to use condoms with every partner. Chlamydia is not fun but you’ll be okay!
