Hey, so I know it’s normal not to have a period but I’m 48 days late. I had sex two weeks before but we got interrupted so we can’t remember if he finished. We tested about 5 times, all negative. Still no period I recently switched from slynd after two months so that may be why. Should I stop bc and wait for a period and then start back again. Will not be active if I do stop just incase 💊💊💊❌❌❌💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊❌❌❌💊💊❌❌💊⏱ Brand: Camila

Breakthrough bleeding is not guaranteed, meaning you can’t be “late”. If you are taking your pills correctly, you have nothing to worry about

It’s not healthy to stop and start birth control in a short amount of time

@sweetlily Well I was switching from another one, I’ve been on birth control for 4 years. Just was wondering if I needed to give my body a break for a couple of months to regulate

No taking a break will only throw your body off more. Like you said it's normal to not have a period so you really don't need to worry

You’re not “due” a bleed. You took multiple tests that have proven to you that you’re not pregnant. It is irrelevant whether you bleed or not. Don’t take random breaks, that will most likely lead to user error and that actually is the biggest reason why people do get pregnant on the pill. Their own misuse. Take your pills as instructed.

^ you’re not “due” a bleed so you’re not “late”. Keep using your birth control correctly.
