Can not using condoms increase a chance of a UTI? I have only ever had 1 uti before and I had sex twice yesterday with no condoms and woke up today with a UTI😭 (i know they aren’t sexually transmitted) but i can’t but help think it is from not using a condom. I usually do use them. we were both freshly showered and i peed after but woke up dyinggg, already on my antibiotics lol

Maybe? No way to know really. I usually am more prone to them when I’ve not been drinking as much fluids as I usually do. Make sure you’re drinking lots of water and avoiding holding in your pee, and changing out of wet/damp swimwear/gym gear asap!

Make sure to pee after having sex, that helps me and I rarely have sex with condom

It's possible the condom is shielding you from bacteria. When you do use condoms, are they prelubricated?

@aurielle I use the skyn condoms - i am not sure if they are prelubricated! I do use extra lube though, with and without condoms
