TW: diet and exercise So I had been exercising religiously every day very intensely and eating basically no fast food no soda and only fish and chicken. I was seeing no results. I went on a break for a week and allowed myself to have soda again and ate a lot of fast food and saw that I lost 6 pounds in a week?!?!? Does anyone know why this happened I figured the not working out and eating bad would’ve made me gain but I lost instead.

Your weight fluctuates throughout the dat, especially depending on when you weigh yourself. And there is a bit of a lag between working out and seeing results. The 6 pounds you lost may have been from working out or it may just be water weight. But I can guarantee you eating a lot of fast food and drinking lotta soda will not keep that weight off.

@lumiere I have been working out since March and lost a lot in the first month and then basically stayed the same weight for two months. I basically went up and down three pounds every now and then. But the second I started eating food again the scale just went down. Idk it was strange phenomenon

You also need to allow your body to take a break from exercising. Exercising every day “intensely” will do more harm than good. Like @lumiere stated, your weight will fluctuate and DO NOT expect fast results.

take pictures. they're a far better way to see what's happening to your body than weight.
