Can some plz tell me why my doc wud proscribed me a antibiotics that clearly says u can’t take if in iron tabs wen clearly he knows I’m on folic acid tablets looks like I’m just glam have to sit this one out after all coz I don’t think my doctors know wat they are doing

Call your doctors but folic acid and iron are completely different things you are thinking of ferrous sulfate which is iron

Folic acid is one of the B vitamins, it gets converted to vitamin B9 (folate) in the body

Oh right so why have I been put on a vit d tablets and folic acid then iv got a so sinusitis infection at mo that’s why iv now been given antibiotics

I'm not a doctor so you should really ask your doctor. But from a quick Google Scholar search it looks like there is a link between some forms of sinusitis and vitamins D deficiency. But these types of questions are best directed at your doctor, they know your medical history and they know their own reasons for prescribing something
