thank you for all the responses on my last post. I wanted to clarify that me and my online friend that I games with have been friends for a year. My boyfriend found messages between us about a week go when I reached out to see if they could play with me. He seen them on my pc because it was his first time seeing it and he clicked on discord and clicked on my recent messages right in front of me and flipped out. Since then he has still been acting weird and says that he researched that men don’t emotionally mature until their 40s. And also told me that he asked his friend if his girlfriend has a guy friend and we’re texting would he be mad and his friend said no lol I’m confident in the relationship so I think that made him feel dumb. Sorry if I have typos again lol.

“Men don’t emotionally mature until their 40s” I’m sorry that’s pure BS do not take that crap seriously. Sounds exactly what someone who has absolutely no intention of trying to mature and grow up anytime soon would say to justify their crappy actions.

It’s not true that men don’t emotionally mature until their 40s that’s just an excuse they use to get away with shitty behaviour.

@bluerose9 @AWg1 Exactly! And now he’s claiming that I’m acting weird and like I don’t wanna have lunch with him and stuff. This is so frustrating!

@lovergirl_ feels a bit like he is trying to prove himself that you’re going to want to leave him just like his previous girlfriends did. i’m no psychologist and don’t say this behavior isn’t toxic, but i don’t think he intentionally wants to hurt you. I would rethink the relationship as others mentioned, as it looks he is not ready to be in one just yet.
