- tw weight/calories/binging So i’m currently on day 3 of being on a calorie deficit and i feel so much better in myself that i’m not just constantly binging. I am on a calorie deficit of 1400 and feel perfectly fine but i just wondered if anyone had any tips! Im eating how i usually would just smaller portions and low calorie snacks. i don’t really exercise apart from a brief walk in the evenings. Just wondering if anyone on a calorie deficit has lost weight and how long it took them?

also is there a certain time i should stop eating? or doesnt it matter too much

It’s very different for everyone. It also depends on how big your deficit is. Please don’t make your deficit bigger than 500 calories under your maintenance! You can eat whenever you want to, intermittent fasting doesn’t make a difference, it makes you just east less which is the same as a calorie deficit so just eat whenever you feel hungry.

It definitely takes time and consistency. Lots of time. It doesn’t really matter what time you stop eating at.

I recommend dropping your calories by 100 weekly/200 bi-weeklyish until you reach 500 below your maintenance (not the 1400), then have a week at your maintenance before repeating. The amount of weight lost within a set time will be different for everyone, its recommended to only lose around 1-2lbs a week though. Also the time you stop eating doesn’t really matter, fasting only works because you’re limited to eating within a short period so you are in a calorie deficit anyway x
