So me and my partner have a few fun things booked coming up over the next few months but the issue is his friends and their girlfriends are literally copying our every move. Regardless of wether or not we tell them, they still book the same hotel as us, go to the same holiday destination as us. For example, we have a staycation planned for May and his friends have literally been giving him a questionnaire about where we’re going because they want to book it as well. To me, it’s getting very tedious and I’m starting to become irritated by it now. It’s really starting to annoy me but I don’t know if my feelings are valid. I don’t know what to do. If I’m honest, this is really putting me off him ( through no fault of his own) purely due to the face we can’t do anything ourselves or have anything with just us. Help.

That’s so annoying, tell ur man to stop sharing anything about you guy’s relationship

Is it because they want to hang out with you guys or they just want to be at exactly the same place and time? I'm confused

@aurielle no. So pretty much, we will say that we’ve booked a hotel stay at _______ hotel and then a few days after we have stayed there, they also stay there. So every little place we go, they book as well.

Are they wanting to go with you or are they just interested in going by themselves? I’d be bothered if they were always inviting themselves on our holiday, but if they’re just asking to see if they’d like to go there too one time then I wouldn’t mind.

@Hissteria I wouldn’t mind if that was the case either but they literally go to the same places a few days later.

@tibs yes I understand that it may not be an issue but when I say it’s LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE PLACE we go. It just makes me feel like we can’t do anything ourselves without them also going.

I get it is a little annoying but I don’t think it’s an issue as it’s not like they’re coming with you or effecting your trip at all, just ignore it

It’s a bit strange, but I don’t think it’s a huge issue. It shouldn’t affect your relationship in any way so just try to forget about it.

If they aren't going at the same time as you, I don't really understand the issue... Ok it's maybe a little strange but I wouldn't let it get to you, not worth the energy
