I noticed today that one side of my labia is swollen, and tender to touch - I also found a small hard lump. Should I be worried about this? When I looked it up the lump sounds like a cyst which should hopefully not need any treatment however when I only searched about the swelling it said the most common reason is a yeast infection. I have no other symptoms of this such as change in discharge, itching or burning. Any advice? ( I am on my period at the moment so could a change in ph have affected it?)

I get that from time to time. It usually goes away in a day or two for me, it’s never been a big problem for me. I usually find it’s due to irritation from the kind of clothing I’ve worn or from using sanitary products when I’m bleeding x

I sometimes have this as well, it does go away relatively quick like @bluerose9 said! I personally like to sleep without any underwear when this happens.

The swelling has gone down a lot today so hopefully something similar to your experiences, thank you both!!
