Any relationship can work. Just be realistic, open and honest

It worked for me. Totally realistic. Just be communicative and trustful of each other.

Worked for me, its very hard though and communication is a HUGE factor that helps so much and of course you have to trust each other. Video chat as much as you can and if you can visit each other every few weeks that helped me

Communication and trust is a key factor. If you get jealous over nothing it’s not gonna work out. I also find it helpful to plan visits so you’ve got something to look forward to!

Worked for me. Met in high school, went to college, graduated, now we’re living together. Six years this fall. It wasn’t easy by any means, but communicating is #1. Knowing when you’ll see each other next always makes the time between easier. Having an end date when you’ll be live near one another or together, or just closer in general helps. It’s good to talk and stay in touch, but it doesn’t mean you can’t have your own time and life away from one another. It’s hard but not impossible.
