TW EXERCISE Anyone here use hoola hooping as exercise? I bought a weighted one and going to start today. What do you guys think about it and have you seen good results?

I have a weighted hula hoop and it is fun, I do other workouts too so I can’t say it alone showed me results. However, I found it really hurt my waist when doing it as mine is ribbed on the inside so if yours is too you may want to layer up that area or get a waist belt for hula hooping to stop it hurting/ bruising you!

it only works if you’re in a calorie deficit, that’s the only way to lose fat :)

It sounds fun! Anything that gets your body moving will have benefits, and especially if it's something you enjoy you'll be more motivated to do it and you'll have further mental health benefits. I would look at it that way rather than trying to focus on getting specific physical results :)

I just started doing this a few days ago but I’ve had my hula hoop for months!

@aurielle that’s true! It’s definitely a lot more motivating because you can just watch anything and do it at the same time haha and it’s fun

@Marie_x Mine hurt a little too as it is ribbed but I was doing it on bare skin x.x will keep that in mind Tysm
