Okay ladies I I’m freaking out Almost a year ago I was assaulted by a someone and they gave me gonorrhea. During this time I noticed some bumps on my butt- on the upper crack and on the outside- I was freaking out because the doctors I went to told me it could be a strand of hpv but it looked off so they were skeptical about it and they said it could also be a reaction from the infection and the medicine, I never did butt stuff before NEVER so I believed the later more. They gave me the medication nonetheless and just like that it went away in a matter of months. Here it is a year later and I have not had an reoccurrence of those bumps again. I am in a relationship now and I told my current boyfriend about the incident before. he freaked out a bit but I told him that I didn’t have hpv and that it was just a reaction to the infection/medicine as the doctors told me and I also told him I haven’t had an outbreak in almost a year. Fast forward to present my boyfriends breaking out on his face he has little white bumps on his lips and I’m worried that maybe I might have the infection and passed it on to him. I’m not currently experiencing any bumps or an outbreak but I’m worried that something could have passed between us

Only way to find out is for him to get checked while he has the bumps.

Has he gotten tested? He should go now since he has a break out. Also sometimes they don’t test you for everything. If you want a specific test done you sometimes have to ask.

He should get tested if he has the symptoms. It could be something with that or something he has separate from you that he could pass to you. Or it could be nothing at all in relation to an std. but he won’t know unless he gets checked
