I’ve been stuck in bed for two days depressed and zapped of energy. I tried to go out today to the pet store and came home and now I’m just so drained even though I’ve been sleeping most of the day and night.

Oversleeping will make you more tired and feel worst, same as not sleeping enough.

I don’t know what you’re going through exactly, and id love to help you. However, if you’re feeling gloomy and down sleeping won’t do anything but make you feel horrible when you wake up:( Try to ask if any of your friends are available to hang out? Take a shower, read a favorite book, maybe even take a walk if it’s nice around where you live, venting to someone you care about is great too!

@ufonora I have bipolar disorder and I’m not on medication anymore because of personal choice. So I’ve been trying to learn to cope and adjust. But I’ve been falling back into the slump of just staying in bed all day everyday. I don’t do literally anything.

But tomorrow is a new day and I’m going to try to do better :) It’s been extra hard knowing my fiancé is going to Alaska for 6 months for work and I won’t get to see him all that time and reception will be spotty. But when he gets back we might be able to get our first place :) It’s just way too hard to think about.

@KatieB_17 it’s always good to have an optimistic mindset when you’re feeling gloomy!! I’m happy you’re staying strong and I can’t imagine how much stress you’re in :( getting up out of your bed just to take a shower is an accomplishment for the day, don’t be so hard on yourself love you’ll get through it❤️
