So I know I been posting a lot about my new pill but I’m just really interested. The contraceptive nurse that rang me today told me that the new pill she will be putting me on is one of the “old” ones and have a 3h window and I’m not sure what that means? Why is it old? Haha sorry if it’s an awkward question

It’s just the traditional type of mini pill with norethisterone not one of the newer types of mini pill which have 12h windows x

@Awg1 oh thank you! I know this might be strange to ask but the reasons she wants me to try that one is because on my current one I’ve been experiencing bleeding non stop... is it possible for that pill not to cause bleeding ? X

Yeah it’s possible as its a different hormone and dosage so your body will react differently to it
