TW: shakes, food replacement
I want to get into shakes but I struggle on what type of shakes to make. Especially in the mornings. I do want to have shakes be my breakfast replacement because Some times I don’t have time to sit and eat due to I have to take my dog outside. I like fruits more than veggies (I wouldn’t mind trying veggie ones though). I would like to incorporate oatmeal in them as well. I DO NOT like peanut butter and I prefer to stay away from chocolate as well. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Pineapple is the best in smoothies!! I bet vanilla protein powder, spinach, oats, pineapple, almond milk and some vanilla extract would taste great😍

Blend frozen fruit, yogurt, some milk to thin it and a dash of maple syrup (or honey if you like), then add oats. I tend to use forest fruits or summer fruit mixes

I made spinach, banana, mixed berries, plain greek yogurt, chia seeds, almond milk and peanut butter (can be substituted for almond butter) smoothies when I don’t have time. I sometimes add a scoop of protein powder

I’ll add any fruits that I have at home. I love adding banana though, it is the best for shakes. Add some plant based milk along with it and some cinnamon if you’d like, it’s delicious. You can also add berries.

We do strawberries, blueberries, bananas, yoghurt, and orange juice. It’s really good

I always add a banana it just gives a great texture and taste I love mango and pineapple with strawberry’s too and for milk I usually use vanilla almond milk but I recently tried coconut milk in it and it’s sooo yummy

I would also recommend not completely using shakes as meal replacement. Only when you really don’t have time or not much of an appetite. Maybe meal prepping would be something that would work for you

I had a colleague who used porridge, peanut butter, spinach and various fruits. He said it made him feel really good, energetic and full at the same time! Not tried it myself (more of a banana and strawberry kind of girl), but sounds nice!

My favorite is frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, coconut milk, banana, and ice 😍 I’ll even add a handful of spinach in there if I need to get rid of it (you can’t taste the spinach if you add a handful)

^^ it’s more of a snack tho instead of breakfast as it doesn’t have any protein
