sorry if this is a bit graphic, but my boyfriend came inside me yesterday and i’m taking my pill perfectly. This is the first time this has happened. Is it okay to be slightly nervous. I know i’m only overthinking it, i was just wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

That’s what the pill is designed to be used for. Haven’t used condoms in 3 years with my partner, he finishes in me every time. Have never had any issues as I make sure to take my pill correctly.

Many women have anxiety about pregnancy when they’re perfect users on the pill. I wouldn’t say it’s okay, because it’s causing you anxiety, but it’s definitely common. As long as you took your pill correctly you’re completely protected, so there is no reason to worry. The pill as a stand alone method is actually more effective than condoms. Have you researched how the pill works scientifically? That usually helps people trusting their pill. Until you trust your pill you should use condoms to ease your anxiety in the future x

Agree with @llunx_ about researching how the pill works. I had trouble trusting the pill when I first started but now that I know what it actually does and how it works to prevent pregnancy I use it alone, trust it and have had no problems!

Continue to use condoms until you really trust your pill!

As long as you have taken all of your pills on time within the allowed time frame and accounted for severe diarrhea or vomiting you are fine and protected. If you don’t feel completely comfortable with your bf finishing inside of you I would suggest either not letting him do that until you are completely comfortable with it or use condoms when having sex. Sex is supposed to be fun. It’s not worth the stress or anxiety.
