I don’t think it’s really good for your body if you stop and go back on it unless you have talked to a doctor

^ starting and stopping can increase your risk for blood clots and side effects. You’ll also have to go through the adjustment phase again

It could take up to 9 months or longer for your body to adjust to being off of birth control. 6-7 months isn’t really awhile. Since you have talked to your doctor you can just start whenever you would like. Know that your body will need time to adjust to being on birth control again. There is a 3-6 month adjustment period. There is no guarantee that you will get lighter periods or less painful cramps it’s only a possibility. Everyone reacts differently to birth control. What might work well for one person might not work well for another. Obviously don’t have condomless sex until you know you are protected by your birth control pills.
