Pictures of Megan Fox and her sons showed up on my timeline again. Always makes me happy to see this type of parenting💛

A celebrity that lets their kids dress like KIDS as opposed to the Kardashian’s in their designer name brand whatever’s at age 2

Is there something wrong with dressing your kid in designer clothes?

@aurielle no there’s nothing wrong with it but it’s obvious when it’s the parent dressing their kid in what they want to embody THEIR style as opposed to the child being a child a wearing what chilling wear and just being kids.

There’s nothing wrong with designer brands and being fashion forward from a young age. But kids also want to have fun and wear all kinds of interesting things and it doesn’t feel like celebrities such as the Kardashians encourage their kids to express their individuality.

I love this. She gets so much hate on IG from people just because she lets her sons wear dresses and skirts. She’s a great parent for letting them explore and wear what they want!

When my brother was a toddler we dressed him up in a dress and called him Regina (his name is Ridge) and my mom got so mad at me and my sisters! Like, we were just kids who were playing dress up.

When I was little I dressed my little brother up in my princess dresses and called him Daniella (his name is danny) and he dressed me up in his "boy clothes" and called me Samuel and my parents didn't give a shit. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My mom has super cute photos of my baby brother in a comfy dress and later in my light up pink shoes that he loved. But I’ve previously been attacked on this forum for suggesting its fine to dress baby boys in dresses so don’t come for me pls

@aurielle all babies used to be dressed up in dresses, ugh. Boys actually used to wear pink because it was seen as more “masculine” back then.

@shootingstar yep exactly, when you think about how recently we started hyper-gendering babies it becomes even more crazy to think about
