Does anyone know if I can stop my period for a day? My boyfriend’s bday is tomorrow and I just got my period today. Is just a super light flow since I usually don’t get my period because of my pill, but I would like to not be spotting tomorrow. Anyone can help?

Don’t think you can stop a period, you’ll just have to go with the flow

Taking ibuprofen and gelatin are methods of doing this. If you're just spotting you might be able to make them work for you. Basically the method is to take 800mg of ibuprofen to slow or stop your period for a few hours. Don't take more than the daily limit. I've tried this and it did work so I could go swimming for a few hours without worrying. The second one I've not tried yet, but the instructions are to mix a packet of gelatin with some water and drink it down quickly. That's supposed to stop it for a while.

@Alpaca thank you! But are you sure that’ll work? When you go swimming your period stops weather you do this or not. I just don’t want to take any medicaments if it’s not 101% efficient
