ive been on the pill for nearly two years now and have only just started trusting it enough to have sex without a condom (but still pulling out). ive just been reading some posts about how some people’s body’s reject the synthetic hormones and was wondering, my doctor did a blood test on me the summer that just passed to check that my pill wasn’t causing any trouble to my body, would this blood test also show if the synthetic hormones weren’t working?

You would know if the pill wasn’t working for you, you would get pregnant. That only happens when people have a very rare genetic condition.

^ I’m pretty sure your doctor would of advised you already as well if you did have that super rare gene
